Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
Telosolid (“Telosolid”, “we”, “us”) operates the Telosolid generative mechanical design platform at telosolid.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website and services.
1. Our commitment
We respect your privacy. We do not sell your personal information or customer email addresses to third parties for marketing. We do not disclose your design content, chat prompts, or account details to unrelated third parties.
We comply with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand) and the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs). If you are located outside New Zealand, we apply comparable standards and will honour applicable local rights where required.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: username, email address, password (stored hashed), verification and session tokens.
- Usage data: design allowance consumption, feature usage logs, and timestamps needed to operate subscriptions and quotas.
- Design data: chat messages, uploaded images, generated scripts, session history, and compiled model files associated with your account.
- Billing data: subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers. Payment card details are processed directly by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Support & contact: name, company, email, and message content when you contact us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and security logs for fraud prevention and service reliability.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information only to:
- Provide, secure, and improve the Telosolid design service.
- Authenticate users and manage accounts and subscriptions.
- Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing-related notices from Stripe).
- Respond to support and contact requests.
- Enforce our Terms of Service and protect against abuse.
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations.
4. AI processing
To generate designs, your prompts and related context may be sent to our AI infrastructure providers (currently Google Gemini) solely to produce results for your session. We do not authorise providers to use your content to train public models for unrelated purposes. Prompts and outputs remain associated with your account under our control.
5. Service providers (processors)
We use trusted infrastructure partners who process data only on our instructions and for service delivery:
- Google Cloud / Cloud Run — application hosting
- Cloud SQL — database storage
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions
- Resend — transactional and contact email delivery
- Google Gemini API — AI-assisted design generation
These providers are contractually required to protect data and may not use it for their own marketing.
6. Storage, retention & security
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and industry-standard authentication practices. We retain account and design data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, billing, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account via Contact.
7. Your rights
Under New Zealand privacy law you may request:
- Access to personal information we hold about you
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements)
To exercise these rights, email support@telosolid.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (New Zealand).
8. International transfers
Some service providers may process data in countries outside New Zealand (for example, the United States). Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with the Privacy Act 2020.
9. Age of users
Telosolid is intended for professional and business users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
